This is for information purposes only: TO ACQUIRE HSP LEVEL 2 SAFETY
I was able to locate the following course for further safety training for bench staff. Safety is the key to provide the best possible environment for our players, staff and members in case of illness and injury.
This course of Standard FIRST AID/ CPR C would be of interest for people who have acquired Hockey Safety Program Level 1 and who would be interested in acquiring the Level 2 designation.
Plus anyone can take this course as any knowledge you can bring to TASA goes a long way as would any other Standard First Aid/CPR C course.
Please note: this does not waive the coach/trainer from taking HSP safety level 1 and or a refresher to maintain that certification.
In order to acquire this level 2 designation one has to also take a certified Standard First Aid course and CPR level C.
When you provide Hockey NS with proof of the courses obtained you will be given level 2 Hockey Safety certification and you will only have to renew your Safety after 5 years instead of 3 years with Hockey NS. The cost of this course and registration is the responsibility of the applicant and the information is located below for their own registration completion.
