Female Division Merger
As many of you are aware Hockey Nova Scotia and Female Council recently approved a merger of the TASA and Chebucto Female Associations for the 2010/2011 season. We believe this provides many benefits and opportunities for our girls playing hockey and to both Associations.
On-line Registration
On-line Registration is now open. For those eligible please register ASAP. For those not eligible “paper registration” will be available after July 20th. See the website for further information.
Chebucto Players - please register directly with TASA this year - TASA will administer the TASA Chebucto Female Association.
It is important that the female players register as soon as possible to allow us to gauge the numbers at each division and plan appropriately in advance (i.e. number of teams, new jerseys required, try-out ice details, etc)
Preseason Skates and Tryouts
The following ice times have been allocated for TASA Chebucto Female hockey tryouts and preseason conditioning skates - please stay tuned for further details as they become available.
Preseason Ice - These are not tryouts - This is a preseason conditioning ice time for current TASA Chebucto Female hockey members and also intended for girls who want to come try hockey (If trying for the first time please contact us so we know you are attending - all welcome and encouraged to attend)
Sunday August 22 (1 hour each):
10:00am – Atom
11:00am – Midget
1:30pm - Bantam
2:30 pm – Peewee
These sessions will be led by Tom Lee – SMU Assistant Coach. Thank-you Tom!!
Try-out Ice - Depending on the numbers in each division tryouts maybe required to either balance teams or to determine the make-up of the A and AA teams.
Monday, September 6: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Saturday, September 18: 7:30am – 11:00am
Sunday, September 19: 7:30am - 10:30am
Monday, September 20: 7:30pm – 8:30pm
Wednesday, September 22: 5:30pm - 9:30pm
